A mobile phone that just makes phone calls
When I present new mobile phones to my customers, I am often asked if they also make phone calls!
Quite simply, modern mobile phones have so many options and features, that sometimes the real purpose – making a phone call – seems just to be an extra.
Today, I read about modu, a mobile phone that centres on doing just that – making phone calls.
“Hang on a moment – that’s what my first mobile phone did! ” I hear you cry. Apparently the difference is the new approach to the subject. The basic modu phone will make calls, but there will be optional modules (hence the name) to add other features.
As yet, I do not know how much either the phone or the modules will cost, but I’ll be keeping a close eye on developments.

Ein Handy zum telefonieren
Was für eine Idee – ein Handy, der zum telefonieren da ist!
Na gut, moderne Handys sind so voll geladen mit Funktionen, dass etwas einfacheres und in diesem Fall modulares könnte durchaus ein Gewinner sein.
